Job Title: Office Admin Role
Salary: TBC
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8.30-4.30 & Friday 8.30-4.00
Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our office team. The role involves working across multiple departments and strong communication is essential. Attention to detail is critical to a candidate succeeding in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Converting quotes into orders with detailed specifications on each order for production
- Liaising with sales assistants to adjust any orders and delivery dates and providing production with any revisions
- Inputting job details to create works orders for each relevant department
- Notifying purchasing department of items that require ordering
- Making sure that job files are kept up to do date and organised appropriately
- Working to process jobs in a timely manner and ensure that any details are clearly marked for production
- Work out appropriate fabric and material quantities for each job to minimise wastage but ensure that there is enough ordered to complete jobs within the deadlines that meet customer requirements
- Liaising with the production team to ensure that all information is available to meet the customers specification
- Working with purchasing team to ensure that materials arrive in a timely manner
- Generally supporting with office tasks
Skills:
- Communication is key to succeeding in the role with both verbal and written requirements a necessity
- IT skills preferably with previous knowledge of Microsoft Navision or Business Central
- Working within a team to achieve fast response and correct information to all departments
- Can do attitude and where any improvements that can be made are identified and discussed as part of ongoing continuous improvement
- Time management, working to deadlines and making sure that workload is prioritised in priority order
