Ella bentwood armchair

The Ella armchair is an authentic bentwood chair design made using the original techniques pioneered in the 19th century by Michael Thonet. Even the Eames’s had one of these in their lounge! The Ella armchair is an iconic design and made by hand and machine, using traditional methods and steamed bentwood. This recently introduced version, differs from its long-standing predecessor, in that it has a plain, rather than an embossed veneer seat. The beech for this chair is of the highest grade in order to be processed in this way, is sourced from responsibly managed forests in Europe and complies to all EU timber regulations.
